Espedair Street, Paisley PA2 6RH

We were asked from a customer in England to help renovate and remodel a property that was based in Scotland. Trusting us to oversee the project and its completion. We were handed the keys and quickly got to work!

From ripping out the old works, to plastering and decorating we transformed this old run down flat to something that was show stopping. Just take a look at our staged photos to really see the transformation.

We completely replaced the bathroom and kitchen, giving this flat a sleek modern look that was easily marketable. We were clean, efficient and reliable when working on this project. Taking control and giving our client a stress free and hands off experience, them trusting us to work and deliver their vision for the property when they couldn’t be there.

The client went on to sell the property for a great profit and we delivered a high-quality and top-class service!

Talk about a full refurbishment!

The Hamilton project was a complete refurbishment for our team. We organised everything from architect drawings to the building warrant approval for the removal of a loading bearing wall.

We removed a load bearing wall from the kitchen into the living room area. This helped to create a wide-open space that was welcoming for the owner. Taking a wall down is often a clever way to give a property a more flowing floor plan. It means that the kitchen as no longer dark and closed off but instead bright and welcoming. We think the colour scheme in this kitchen makes it a really welcoming environment that made the property easy to sell.

We also gave the bathroom a complete make over! The whole of the upstairs of this property in now modern and sleek with a bathroom to match. It is stylish and a stunning change from what was the old bathroom layout. We ripped the old bathroom out but made sure to be environmentally conscious and friendly when doing this refurb.

We also upgraded the electrics of the property which is vital to make sure the property is safe and secure for our client. It was a great learning experience and we feel our team took a lot from this and using our skill sets to make sure that the job was done to the highest of standard when it came to asthetics but also when it came to hidden things that really make a property top quality, such as the wiring. We also upgraded the heating and smoke detectors as well to make sure that this property was safe for our client.

The property was completely replastered and painting to get that sleek finish which we just love. We put laminate flooring throughout the property as well as new carpet. We also painted the property externally as well as internally. We made sure to give love and attention to the back garden, adding new decking and creating a really lovely chilled space for those great Scottish summer nights.

We are extremely proud of this project and how great it has turned out.

Crow Road, Glasgow G11 7BU

Crow road has previously been a barber shop that needed a little bit of TLC.

When one of our MPS Letting clients took on a hair salon they knew that we were just the people to help modernize and renovate this shop. From plaster boarding to electrics, we helped transform this space into the shop it is today.

The old bathroom area was a little bit of a trip hazard, customers would have to step up two small steps to get into it which wasn’t ideal. So, we took the whole back area back to bricks to rearrange the layout. We found during this that the timber in the back area was rotten so a restoration was underway. We restored all the timber and floor joints making it completely safe for staff and customers. We installed new walls, skimmed it all and installed new plumbing.

We made a small kitchen area for staff and made sure the bathroom was all on one level making it accessible for everyone. We installed new hair wash stations as well, fixing the plumbing issues.

We even made bespoke custom shelving for the place so that customers were comfortable in the shop!

The result was a lovely, modern and welcoming shop! Take a look at some before and after, and process photos down below.

Dalnair Street, Glasgow G3 8SJ

Just before Lockdown started the team got started on a really exciting project!

Dalnair street flat was one with a rather odd layout when we first got to it. The previous owners had made the kitchen area in a cupboard like room, making it feel small and enclosed. There wasn’t much light to the original property and it seemed to lack a sense of warmth.

So, we did what we do best! We got right into a complete renovation of the property. First, we started by moving the kitchen from the cupboard and bringing it into the living room. Making it much more open plan. This made the floor plan much more cohesive. It was a perfect open space for family and friends to gather if the tenant wanted to host. It also allowed for a much bigger feeling kitchen, that no longer felt so enclosed and dark. Painting the living spaces with light paint and light carpet really opens up a space and that couldn’t be truer here. We were really happy with the finish of this space and the project was a good learning experience for us.

When we were stripping the walls of the old torn away wallpaper, we soon discovered that the walls weren’t as sturdy as initially thought. This is common in old buildings such as this one, but this wasn’t a problem for our team. We soon replastered and got the walls all fresh for the tenant. It is really important to make sure buildings have a good foundation which is why we always check details such as this to make sure our clients are getting the best quality renovations possible.

Another big change in this property was the bathroom. Originally it was a really small run-down space that wasn’t inviting at all. Bathrooms should be all about relaxation. We wanted to create a sleek modern look and we feel our time achieved this to the highest of standards. The bathroom in this property is now welcoming and inviting, with a standalone sink and extremely spacious shower.  With a large mirror perfect for getting ready.

Overall, the team worked hard to completely renovate and change the layout of Dalnair street. It is now an open and modern flat that is ready to move in and perfect for someone to make their home.

We were contacted by the charity to help give their office space some much needed TLC.

After lockdown, many businesses were looking to freshen up there look in the preparation for returning. Having done many commercial spaces before, we were able to provide expert knowledge to transform the office. Gary prepped all the walls, sealing and making the building water tight again.

Prepping is an extremely important part of the decorating process as it gives the most professional and clean finished project. Gary also made sure to patch any damages in the walls as well as covering up water damage marks.

Below you can see the finished project, as well as a timelapse of Gary painting the space, watching the project unfold before your very eyes.

This office space is now clean, inviting and a lovely place to work.

Earlier this year we were approached to build a double garage from one of our clients. We took complete control of this project, getting together the drawings and materials needed.

This was a structural works project for us as well as a new build. Our clients wanted plenty of space and we were able to provide that. Take a look at how we constructed the double garage below.

How can we help you?
